Staff Selection Commission Conducts Computer Based Examination And (Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) for Havaldar Post Only )
Computer Based Examination Exam Pattern:-
The SSC MTS 2025 examination Conducts a Computer-Based Examination (CBE) divided into two mandatory sessions:
Both Sessions 1 and 2 are conducted on the same day one after the other without any long break in between.

| Subjects: Numerical and Mathematical Ability, Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving |
| Number of Questions: 20 questions per subject (Total: 40 questions) |
| Maximum Marks: 60 marks per subject (Total: 120 marks) |
| Marking Scheme: +3 marks for each correct answer; no negative marking for incorrect answers |
| Duration: 45 minutes |
| Session 2 |
| Subjects: General Awareness, English Language and Comprehension |
| Number of Questions: 25 questions per subject (Total: 50 questions) |
| Maximum Marks: 75 marks per subject (Total: 150 marks) |
| Marking Scheme: +3 marks for each correct answer; 1 mark is deducted for incorrect answers |
| Duration: 45 Minutes |
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) for Havaldar Post
Candidates applying for the Havaldar position are required to undergo PET and PST:
| Physical Efficiency Test (PET): |
| Male Candidates: Walk 1600 meters in 15 minutes |
| Female Candidates: Walk 1 kilometer in 20 minutes |
| Physical Standard Test (PST): |

| Height: 157.5 cm (relaxable by 5 cm for certain categories) |
| Chest: 81 cm (fully expanded) with a minimum expansion of 5 cm |
| Female Candidates |
| Height: 152 cm (relaxable by 2.5 cm for certain categories) |
| Weight: 48 kg (relaxable by 2 kg for certain categories) |
| Important Notes:- |
| Mandatory Sessions: Both Session-I and Session-II are compulsory. Failure to attempt any session will result in disqualification. |
| Language Options: The exam is available in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages, including Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. |
| Total Questions and Marks: 90 questions carrying a total of 270 marks. |
| Total Duration: 90 minutes (45 minutes per session). |
